Ana Soldatenko
Graphic Designer
Ana founded Transform Creative in 2015 and has since delivered commissions for some of the most prominent organisations in Scotland’s third sector. She is equally skilled in designing for print and digital with a keen eye for branding and photography. Most recently she designed for clients such as the National Trust for Scotland, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Museums & Galleries Edinburgh, and two Scottish Design Awards-nominated exhibitions for the National Museum of Scotland.
Peter Urwin
Website Developer and Designer
Pete is a web designer and developer with over twenty years' experience. He has extensive expertise in web design and development, content management systems and ecommerce, search engine optimisation and email marketing. Pete spent eight years at a leading Edinburgh creative agency before starting Urwin Studio in 2008, and has since worked extensively with non-profits, public sector bodies, small businesses and corporate clients.
Colin Hattersley
Photographer
Colin is an Edinburgh-based photographer offering photography for charities and social enterprises, corporate and public sector clients, arts organisations, festivals and public relations agencies. He works across Scotland and internationally. He has a solid background in media, having freelanced for publications including The Times, The Scotsman and The Herald groups. This gives him a great understanding of how to take pictures that will sell a story.
Andy Smith
Creative Director
Andy Smith is a Creative Director with a range of skills across graphic design, advertising, direct marketing and brand identity. He has 18 years of experience in the top agencies in Scotland and has worked with a huge range of brands from banks to beers, charities to cheeses and everything in between. He has developed a commercially effective and successful portfolio of projects, and has enjoyed success in The D&AD Awards, The Roses Awards, The Nods, The Scottish Creative Awards, Marketing Star Awards, and the International Dream Awards.
Tom Holmes
Graphic Designer and Illustrator
Tom is an experienced graphic designer and vector illustrator, based in Glasgow. He applies his eye-catching design style to projects such as logos, infographics, icons, character design, maps and brochures. Tom can be relied on to provide an efficient, responsive, reliable and flexible service to all clients, whilst also, of course, being a great designer.
Bob Carr
Motion Graphics Designer
Bob is an Edinburgh-based digital designer and motion graphics artist with over 15 years of experience as a creative professional. He has previously worked in digital education at The University of Edinburgh, then later joined several tech startups as design lead and product manager. Bob has produced video content for companies, public sector and education, specialising in product/service explainers and other promotions. Having graduated with a degree in design and an MBA, Bob has helped to launch many new businesses and products to market.
Emily Fraser
Graphic Designer
Emily is an Edinburgh-based digital designer and design director with over 15 years experience in the industry. She has worked on a variety of clients from the BBC to local distillery start ups doing a range of work including branding, motion graphics, video editing, web design and print. Having graduated with an MSc in Digital Design in 2020 from Edinburgh University, she also has a keen interest in 3D design and exploring innovative digital design.
Barry Shelby
Copywriter
Barry is an accomplished freelance journalist and copywriter with some 35 years of experience on two continents. Clients have included the Glasgow Herald, the Guardian and the National Theatre of Scotland. Raised in California with an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, and a Master's degree in journalism, Barry is a former resident of New York City, where he spent not quite 14 years working as an international news editor. He now stays on a croft in the Outer Hebrides. Here he raises Blackface sheep for mutton, hens for eggs and vegetables for . . . vegetables.
Julianne Robertson
Media & PR Advisor
Julianne is a Dundee-based communications specialist with over 20 years of experience in journalism, feature writing, PR, podcasting, media relations and content strategy. She provides publicity, writing and content marketing services to clients in various sectors, specialising in sustainable, nature-based and rural businesses. With corporate and freelance experience across a range of industries, including transport, horticulture, water, media and publishing, she’s well placed to support brands and businesses with advice and action to help them thrive. Julianne has a passion for clear and honest communications, and loves to craft words and images to inform and engage communities, inspire action and promote trust.
Jono Neilson
Brand Advisor and Copywriter
Jono is a copywriter who really knows how it feels to own a brand. After graduating with a BA and MSc in Brand Marketing, he enjoyed an 8-year client side career as a brand manager and sales trainer for industry leaders including Mitchells & Butlers, Arvato Bertelsmann, and Microsoft. This experience allows Jono to write compelling copy for a broad range of industries and audiences, while appreciating the perspectives of brand stakeholders on all side of the table. His recent work includes copy for Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society, Macb Water, and Cancer Support Scotland.
Jane Maher
Marketing and PR Advisor
Jane's experience covers press and media relations, media training, crisis management, internal and corporate communications, events and senior client management. Her sector experience is vast and spans across public, B2B and consumer clients including energy, waste recycling and professional services, right through to food and drink, leisure and tourism, both in the UK and internationally. She was ranked in the Scottish Business News’ 40 under 40 league table and has won Marketing Society awards for Tesco, Loch Fyne Oysters, and packaging giant Logson Group.
