Elspeth is a trained Project and Programme Manager with over fifteen years’ experience. She has worked in the sustainability sector for the last fifteen years, providing advice on sustainability strategy, stakeholder relations, community engagement and environmental assessment. Elspeth has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and holds the Association for Project Management Professional Certificate.
Ana Soldatenko Head of Design
Ana graduated from Gray’s School of Art with First Class Honours in Visual Communications. She designs and manages production of all printed material for Transform Scotland and has refreshed the organisation's visual identity. Ana worked as the Graphic Designer for the Gordon Castle Estate, helping to create and launch their brand. Her photography work has been purchased by Robert Gordon University and exhibited in London and Aberdeen.
Peter Urwin Website Designer
Peter is a web designer with over fifteen years’ experience. He has extensive expertise in web design and development, content managed systems, e-commerce, search engine optimisation, email marketing, usability and standards compliance, as well as video and photography. Peter founded Urwin Digital in 2008 and has since worked extensively with non-profits, public sector bodies, start-ups and corporate clients.
Tom Holmes Illustrator
Tom Holmes is a vector illustrator, based in Glasgow. He has over ten years industry experience and can be relied upon to deliver unique and eye-catching illustrations for your project. Tom has developed his unique style of vector graphics and works with clients in the UK and abroad on projects such as infographics, icons, character designs, illustrated maps and children’s books.
Barry Shelby Copywriter
Barry is an accomplished freelance journalist and copywriter with 35 years experience. Clients include the Glasgow Herald, the Guardian, and National Theatre of Scotland. He has authored 10 books for the international publisher Wiley, including titles such as the Frommer's Edinburgh and Glasgow Day by Day and Scotland for Dummies. Barry spent almost 14 years working as an international news editor in New York City.

Colin is an Edinburgh-based award-winning photographer, providing press, PR, corporate and arts & entertainment photography services. He works throughout Scotland, the UK and internationally. He has great contacts with national and local media and regularly contributes to The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, the Edinburgh Evening News, The Times and the Times Educational Supplement.

Colin Howden Campaign Advisor
Colin has managed Transform Scotland (Transform Creative’s parent body) since 1998 and has played a defining role in the promotion and development of sustainable transport in Scotland. He has extensive experience in campaigns, public affairs and political relations, is a regular contributor to the Scottish media and has published widely on all aspects of sustainable transport policy and practice.
Stan Blackley Communications and PR Advisor
Stan has spent 25 years working in public affairs and communications. He has provided public, media and political relations advice and services on environmental issues to organisations across every sector. He was a senior policy and media advisor to the Green MSPs and a Director of Yes Scotland. He is currently Director of a public relations consultancy and a political and media monitoring agency.
James Mackenzie Copywriter and PR Advisor
James has worked in media and public affairs in Scotland since 1998. He was Press Officer for Holyrood's Presiding Officers, specialising in the Scottish Parliament building project, and Head of Media for the Green MSPs from 2007 to 2011, during which he ran the party's 2011 Holyrood election campaign. Since leaving Parliament James has provided freelance strategy, communications and writing support for a wide range of clients.
Max Leslie Executive Marketing Assistant
Max is the most recent addition to the Transform Creative team, joining in September 2017 as a Executive Marketing Assistant. He is currently studying for a joint degree in Economics and Economic History MA(Hons.) at The University of Edinburgh. Max has been an avid volunteer for much of his life, donating his time and efforts towards numerous important campaigns in the past. He aims to bring his additional experience in social media advertising, graphic design, and Environmental Economics to his new role here at Transform Creative.
